Creating Suicide Safety in Schools (CS3)

This workshop is designed to assist school planning teams, consisting of school administrators, school-based mental health and health professionals, school safety staff, and school counselors, evaluate readiness and make improvements to prevention and response plans.

The planning team will participate in small and large group discussions, complete a school needs assessment, and will receive valuable feedback through a customized action plan to guide implementation.

CS3 helps the planning team learn about the best ways to prevent suicide. It also encourages discussion about creating policies and procedures for the whole building and district. The planning team will participate in small and large groups, complete a school needs assessment, and receive feedback through a customized action plan.
